Wouldn't it be cool if? Wouldn't it be cool if? Wouldn't it be cool if? Welcome to today's episode. Funny name, if you saw the name of the episode, it's called, wouldn't it be cool if? And that is what we're going to work on today. We are doing these short, little snippet episodes that I hope will help you to tap into what you truly desire and to figure out what is a life you love, what is your pleasure Life? I'm your host, Emma Lovell. I'm the pleasure coach. I help people to combine travel, business and self care so that they can live a life they love too. So pleasure is business and leisure, but I've added in self care, because without that, you don't get either. Now, what I have for you, if you head to the link in the show notes, is the place where you can get my journal prompts. I have a bunch of those, and this is one of them. So this is a journal prompt that I use myself. I use it with my clients on my retreats. I use it with my coaching clients. It's just a way to daydream and to think about what's possible when we're stuck in the now and I can tell you what I needed today. It's very easy when the bills are coming in, and you know, the demands are there, and the day to day grind kind of can sweep you up to forget our dreams, to forget what we're working towards, to forget what it's all for. And so wouldn't it be cool if it's a great way to pull you out of right now and take you into daydreaming and the future and desires and wishes and wants and all that wonderful place. So super quick, super easy, grab a paper and pen, put on a timer for five minutes. That's all we need. Five minutes to reset your mind and pop on some music, if you like, um, I like, some instrumental or some sort of, I don't know flow music. Sometimes I need a bit more energy, so I might have something with a bit of a beat, but generally no lyrics. So I have one called Electronic study music, or music for concentration. I do have a journaling playlist as well if you'd like to hear that. So I'll pop that in the show notes as well my pleasure journal writing playlist. So we're going to pop on some music five minutes. And literally, you write at the top of page. Wouldn't it be cool if and then you don't have to write that again, you've got the prompt. Now, I use the word cool. You could use the word wonderful, inspiring? Wouldn't it be fantastic? Wouldn't it be amazing? Wouldn't it be sensational? Wouldn't it be delicious? Wouldn't it be delightful? Wouldn't it be just the best you get to choose. If you can't think of another word, cool is great, like just kind of casual, wouldn't it be cool? You know, it's just, there's no attachment, there's no worry. Wouldn't it be cool if and so and then you write it down, so I'll do mine right now. Wouldn't it be cool if I wrote my next book? Wouldn't it be cool if I That book was a best seller? Wouldn't it be cool if it was a best seller within a year? Wouldn't it be cool if it was best seller in a month, and that's 5000 copies, so I can get specific, wouldn't it be cool if I sold 5000 copies in a month? Wouldn't it be cool if this book changed people's lives? Wouldn't it be cool if people took action and changed their own lives because of what they read? Wouldn't it be cool if. If five people signed up to my retreat this week. Let's get specific. Wouldn't be cool if five people signed up to my new writing retreat this week? Wouldn't it be cool if five more people joined the Nepal retreat and we were almost sold out? Wouldn't it be cool if just the best people, the best, most awesome, wonderful people, joined that retreat and I got to meet some really cool people. Wouldn't it be cool if I got to stay back at the W Brisbane hotel really soon? Wouldn't it be cool if I got to take my son and my husband to India with me in November as well as Nepal? Wouldn't it be cool if I wrote a screenplay? Wouldn't it be cool if I won an Oscar? Wouldn't it be cool if we bought a boat See, see where it can go? That was all the top of my head, by the way, if you, if you write it out, it's quite fun, too. And I don't know, you don't know what's going to come. And I let you into my thoughts, then don't overthink it. Let it come and it might be very, very like more, more present. Would it be cool if I just took the day off? Wouldn't it be cool if I just went for a bit of a walk? Um, wouldn't be cool if I allowed myself to have a break? Wouldn't it be cool if I just want to pick my son up now and had a cuddle? It could be anything, but get yourself out of your head and into your heart, into your body, and see what's on the paper and the one that stands out the most, like, when one might be like, Whoa, like for me, my husband and I did this, and because he hate asking what he wants, what he dreams and what He desires, and it's really hard to get into to answer me, but when I did this, I'm like, just, we're just playing, You know, there's no money laying down. There's no commitment. You don't do anything that we say on here, though, I will squirrel it away in my brain for later. But what do you think like, Wouldn't it be cool if he bought a motorbike? That was his thing. Wouldn't it be cool if we had like, cows? And wouldn't it be cool, if my zoom works, it just froze. Um, yeah, so it was. It's been a great way for us, if we ever get stuck in the here and now, to just to daydream and to plan. So this is a really short episode. I'm going to keep it really short. I've given you some ideas there. I'd love to hear what comes out for you. I always ask my group, how did that? How did you find that? Was it challenging or easy, or did it come easily? Did you get stuck? The thing to do is to keep writing for that whole five minutes. Just keep it coming, because sometimes the really cool ones come at the end, and then what surprised you that came out, and what which one really stands out to you? Like this might be. You might find your future job. You might find your future place to live. You might find your your biggest dream is written down on that paper. So I'd love to hear from you.
