Hello, and welcome to this very special podcast episode about my most recent India retreat the rest and receive retreat in Kerala, India. I have been back one week, and I am still on cloud nine after this incredible experience. And I just want to share it with you while it's fresh and all the good feels so thank you for tuning in to the Emma Lovell show. I am Emma Lovell, and I was the host of the incredible rescue receive retreat. It was my third retreat. I've hosted one in the Gulf Coast. I hosted one in the kangaroo Valley in New South Wales. And then I went overseas and hosted one in Kerala, India, so the south of India. But it wasn't my first rodeo in India, it was my 13th visit to India. I've probably spent cumulative eight months plus in endearing my life. longest trip was two months. And my first ever trip was in 2005 when I was 17 years old. So I've been going for more than half my life. I'm 36 Oh my gosh, actually, that's Wait, gosh, I went in 2005. No. Okay, how did that make sense? Anyway, I was I turned 18 that year. I'm 36. So anyway, half my life I've been going to India. And it was just so incredible to get back and to share it with some clients as well. So yeah, we had I had five incredible clients join as well as a lovely photographer, videographer content creator, Jade, one who came along to capture the experience. She's my best bestie and partner in crime in business. And it was amazing that she said yes to coming along, to capture content, but also to participate. Because that was a huge part of it for me was making sure that she was involved. I only ever invite content creators or photographers who I know and who I know will be a good energy with the group. I don't want them to just be on the periphery snapping away or affecting the experience. I want them to be in the experience so and he just goes next level with making content we Harun our both posting in case you follow me I'm on Instagram at Emma lovell.au Jade is at small business growth club. Sorry, small Yes, well, this is Chris club on Instagram. And we were just posting every day reels and photos and stories and really sharing the experience. So you can always go back and have a look there. Hashtag restaurant and receive retreat is the name of it. By all means you can look at my website as well. Emma lovell.edu, forward slash rest, hyphen, receive hyphen retreat to see what was included and what was involved. I'm also very, very excited to announce today my next retreat. So if you are listening to this, you will actually be the first ones to hear but let me tell you more about India first and what happened and then I can tell you at the end of this episode, so stay stay on the line please listen to the whole episode and it's a short way to promise listen to the whole episode and then I can tell you a little bit more about it. So restaurant receive comes from actually one of my gorgeous clients Liz Ellis who came on this retreat which was such a full circle moment and really meant a lot to me because she gave me rest and receive. She's a coach, a leadership coach and we did a swap so I did some personal branding support for her when I was focusing on personal brand. And she did a coaching session for me and I turned up at the coaching sessions so overwhelmed. So exhausted, so almost burnt out and just didn't know where to start. And I said, What do I do? How do I do all the things that she actually said, I think you need to go to bed at and explained this concept of relax and receive. So when you relax, when you let go when you surrender, and when you prioritize yourself and having some giving yourself space instead of doo doo doo doo doo. You can actually then receive opportunities. There's always all the excuses are, but I've got to do this. I've got to do that. For once I listened. And I said, okay, and I just like, Yeah, I'm so tired. And that nine 930 We talked, I think we cut the session early. And I said thanks. And okay, and I went to bed. And when I woke up in the morning, there were three opportunities in my inbox. And I'm not talking like, whatever like, Hey, we should collab like, like a speaking opportunity, a podcast invite and like a client saying yes, who had been following up. And I was like, Oh my gosh, like it was just so three clear. And I was like, Okay, this restaurant receipt, well, I caught it rest, I had a wrist, and you receive and I've got on a poster on my wall. And this concept has just proved itself time and time again. So I wanted to create a wrist retreat around that is that when you rest when you and rest, by the way, like sometimes I had the feedback, they'd be like, I didn't have much wrist. Rest looks different to everyone. If rest two, you only mean sleeping, then no, you're not going to come on a retreat and flip through. If rescue means lying and getting a massage, then sure we can do that. But it's not going to be for three days or four days or five days. If rescue your means lying, they're doing absolutely nothing like it does to my husband, then sure you can do that. But I don't know why you would come to India and just lie in your room for five days. I mean, you can beautiful view to look out the window. But that's not what I'm gonna offer an a retreat. rest to me means resting your mind. From the buzz from the busyness from the day to day from the like Do do do rest for me like a walk is restful. For me swim is restful. For me, yoga actually isn't so restful. For me, I find it. Like it's just not the one for me, Pilates is more restful for me getting stuck into like creating my new rest and receive retreat pages restful. For me, having a conversation is restful. Sitting on a car, looking out the window, as we drive through India is restful. So rest looks different to everyone. rest to me means like stopping work personally, like work in like the traditional sense. And the day to day and the Do do do an action list. So that's what rest means to me. You've got to find what what rest looks like to you. And then receiving means being open to opportunities, receiving compliments receiving money receiving. Yeah, just receiving gifts, receiving anything. Like it could be anything. You know, a client even sent it back to me on my retreat. They were like, she actually bought a bag for me. And I said I couldn't accept that. And she said, Emma, receive, I want to give you a gift. And thank you for bringing me here. Even though she paid to be on the retreat. She wanted to buy me that bag that I loved. We'd have matching travel bags. Thank you, Christine. And I was like, All right, you're right, I can receive things as well. And so it's being open to receiving so that's where rest of receive came from. Anyway. So yeah, announced it a year ago, and I had five people join within the first week, which is incredible. And then over the course of the year I had another to a few people dropped in and out but in the end, we had five attendees, and then Jade, so seven of us all up. One of the lovely ladies ended up bringing her partner and two children, adult children, so 17 and 25. And then one of the attendees brought his partner which was lovely, and I was really happy actually. One of the attendees right either men and his partner, Mike so they are a lovely gay couple. And a lovely couple and I just really love that I really want everyone to know the rest of receive is open to everyone. It's open to men, women, non binary, however you you say I am. That is You are welcome. And I loved that Ray was one of the first people back chapel. Shout out to back was the first person to say yes, but she made that very clear that she was like, first one in and I loved having her there. But Ray pastels was the second person to say yes and also to bring his partner and they did an extension throughout India which is also amazing, which we coordinated through my partner travel, my travel partner industry And, and yeah, it was wonderful to have them there. So I just think it was such a great group. You know, so you would see in my photos that there are 3344 men in them. Yeah. Because a partner, child and other partner and raised with it and I just I love that I think if you if you see this and you think it's for you, it's for you. I used to talk about women more and target women more because we have to have a niche marketing tells us whatever nation we have to target. And typically these types of experiences to attract more women but I love working with people. And my son so sweet. He always says Hi people look at other people. And I'm like, that's such a great way to talk is like, when you talk to people you cover you cover all bases. So all people are welcome. nationalities, genders stage of life, or welcome, as long as you have bringing the right energy and intention, you are welcome. So we just a little bit background to Indus bound is my travel partner. So I have been going to India for 18 years. And in 2017, I took my partner at the time, Matthew, and he's now my husband to India for his first visit and friend was currently partnering with in disband and introduced me and said potentially as a opportunity for me to also get involved because of all my travel experience. I didn't know what that looked like I didn't know I didn't really want an agent to book my trip because I know India quite well. And you at all. Anyway, I put a rough together itinerary which was kind of specific at the locations and the date in mind. And he came back and was beautiful agenda itinerary, way better logistics, better locations I ever could have imagined. And for a wonderful price. And I just couldn't not say yes, then to experience the service and of Indus bound to be taken care of to be picked up everywhere we went to have drivers to stay in in places that I didn't even know existed. And just to be so taken care of. It was incredible. And I would never go back. And I just so recommend travel agents, travel advisers, travel companies, because they do have access to information that you just can't sometimes get. And I think it's wonderful to go and explore. But when you go into a place like India for the first time, go with someone you know. And so, since 2017, I've been partnering with them and helping people to coordinate trips to India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan. So that was a huge part of it too, was that I was able to organize people rules retreat, the retreat with the package and people purchase the retreat. And then all by one extended. So one lady went to Sri Lanka for 10 days before one group, we just went to Delhi and Agra for the which is August the Taj Mahal, so we stayed on and went there. Then we had someone do Tiger tour plus Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, that's the Golden Triangle. And then we have the other family do some more of Kerala, the Golden Triangle and jawed pours. So we customized all of those. It's a bespoke luxury travel company. So we customize itineraries for everyone. So it's a retreat isn't for you, but you want to go to India and you want to bring a group. That's what I can do as well. But, you know, rest and receive is something really special. And I'm so glad these people said yes, so we had five nights to three nights in the fragrant nature hotel in Kerala, which is a stunning venue I've been to before and I knew, and it was a good choice. And I'd been there before. And I remember in January 2019, visualizing that this could be a retreat location. Just the meeting rooms, the layout, the its boutique, it was done in the colonial style. So it's kind of got this all the worldly feeling, but it's was was pretty new at the time. So it's still within 10 years old, very modern, eco friendly, they're an eco Hotel. So they're doing their very best, like, you know, they don't use plastic bottles for the toiletries, a lot of messaging around, turning off lights and not washing things excessively, having having water available instead of plastic bottles again. So lots of of things that really, really drew me to that place. But I was in the car on the way there. Late at night, I arrived. And I thought, ah, you know, do my colleagues think this is like a silly place to choose or why did why is she picking this place where she going back there? And as soon as I arrived at fragrant nature, I was like, Oh my gosh, I made the right decision. This place is incredible and such a great introduction to India. It's not a big, flashy hotel and it's not like a homestay b&b. It's just such a perfect combination. It's luxurious and comfortable, but also authentic and homely and just incredible service. I can't I can't speak more highly of the wonderful customer service at fragrant nature would have said another their hotels in Kerala as well. And then the second part of the trip was two nights on houseboat a luxury houseboat which I shared photos, I shared photos I talked about it, people could totally look up where we were going. But the photos do not do it justice. And my gorgeous attendees were blown away. And that was truly restful to sit on that boat just to look out at the backwaters of Kerala. So we drove a few hours from Fort Kochi, where fragrant nature is to LRP. And we went on the houseboat which I have done now I did it with my husband for one night, which wasn't enough. And then I took this rookie trip in 2019, with with four women and we went two nights, which was incredible. And then I knew that there had to be part of it. So I'd actually done the itinerary before I had been to fragrant nature, Fort Kochi, and I'd been to LRP before so I knew it, I knew that's a really important tip about running a retreat. I think knowing your location is really important because I have made the mistake of mistake learning it's a beautiful place, but I'm staying in a hotel that was too big. And it didn't really foster that retreat environment that you need. So I'll just run through the itinerary really quickly, and then share I guess some of my heart, I think I've probably just want to give a little background. And I could talk about this till I'm blue in the face. And I would love your questions like please ask your questions. I can do episodes that are just answering your questions. I can do episodes that are just all about the one thing I do what episode all about India will 100% Because you know, well. But it's really good. When I get asked questions, I'm actually going to get a client to a client. She's a colleague, but I'm gonna get her to interview me about India because I need to stay on topic. Otherwise, I'll just talk about everything. So anyway, everybody arrived late in the night or early in the morning on the 11th 12th of November, I decided to step in. Welcome everyone, which was really fun. I didn't go to bed till three. But it was really cute to see everyone and welcome them. It was a big thing for me. I know going to India is such a foreign place. And so I really wanted to make sure people felt welcomed. So we met up on the 12th. Some people went out shopping in the morning, some people really wanted some clothing, and Indian paraphernalia, or Indian attire. So they went out, I actually was really wrecked and actually felt a little rundown by the time I got there, which was I think just the universe challenging me but so I just said, you know, I'm gonna have a rest. And that was a really important lesson for me too, that I don't have to. Although on the host, I don't have to be with everybody all the time. One of the really important things I feel is about giving people the time and space for themselves, but time and space to connect together. And if I'm there facilitating it all the time, they may not have the same connection. So it was really lovely to see them go out. Some of them have connected in the past. And we've had a whatsapp chat for a while. So everybody connected really quickly. So we had breakfast and welcome small people. And we ended up having lunch together at the hotel, lovely forecourts lunch, which was like wow, the next day we did it, it was snacky. But it was like whoa, okay, lovely, lovely service. And then we had our first workshop and we all came together in a lovely room, and just welcomed everyone and set our intentions. And it was so beautiful for everyone to introduce themselves and really connect my original like itinerary. I had a workshop every morning and then a reflection or hot seat every night. And that was something I changed throughout. And this is the best thing is like adjusting and adapting your itinerary, not overloading your itinerary because things do change. And the lunch took a bit longer. And then people needed some time to do things in the afternoon on it, get some rest. And so I just said you know what, we'll, we'll we're just going to move that and give everybody a break. And we can regroup in the morning. And so having a workshop each morning and then time to connect and reflect in the afternoon on their own is more important. I think we obviously talk over dinner and we talk over lunches and and there's a lot of one on one conversations as well. So again, I don't need to force everyone into a room necessarily to get those breakthroughs. And it's not all about me lecturing and teaching and coaching people every minute of the day. I believe that the answers are within the people and that's why they come you're coming to reconnect to yourself and you're coming to just listen to yourself and to see the world a different way. And so in the thing I loved about India was that it just people are so outside of their day to day there was so then able to just they were so enamored by an in or an in wonder of what was all this new stuff. All their senses were alive, that then they could just completely switch off from back home and be open to new experiences. Seeing them so excited like Jade was at the window. It's sucks I am, like busting like little kid on Christmas morning busting to get out and to go out and capture content it was so it's so wonderful to see people, we're getting new ideas. You know, Christine didn't think about work for the first time in in nine years. You know, I think you know, the people can check in and stuff and I always say like you need to check in. But please don't come to India and then work on your business for five days. Like that's not what it's about. But if you need to do a couple emails or get something done, and you need some time, by all means, that's fine. I just asked people to be present in the sessions and you know, be present with the others. So yeah, then that afternoon we went out and took took one of ours is like a disco Talk Talk. It was just the guy blasting music. We went out and like a few cars and all we went out in one car to talk talk which was fun, or ritual. And we went to a salary shop and garment shop and it was really fun to you know, that's part of it. You're in India, of course, you know your shopping experience that some of the ladies bought saris, some of the guys bought some shirts, bought some pashminas. And, you know, they had a great time doing that, enjoying the colors and the sensors of India. And then we went back to the hotel. We had dinner that night on the rooftop, which was lovely, beautiful dinner set out for us and also went for a swim. Here's a beautiful rooftop pool and we just really soaked in the venue that day. So that was first day, long way to say it. The second day we did yoga in the morning with yoga on the rooftop at 8am. It was already warm. Kerala is hot and hotter. So it was pretty warm. But incredible. I too, we yoga, incredible. Session everybody really enjoyed it very, very wonderful to do yoga and the land, the home of yoga. India is the homeland of where it started. So wonderful to do that. And then we had breakfast at our leisure and then another workshop and went into a fabulous boardroom and I'd really resisted going into like a boardroom but it was actually a really great safe space. And it was dark and it was cool. And it was actually really wonderful terrible for content photos, but wonderful for that our hearts and to see my clients having even on the second morning to be having opening up so much. Getting downloads, getting messages, getting realizations and sharing so beautifully. Together was was such a gift and beautiful to see. So really powerful workshop. We then had lunch again and then that afternoon was free time. So some of us went out shopping some of us went for a walk Jada and I did some content creation did alive back to Australia, our life to the internet, talking about experience and capturing photos and videos. And then we went for a walk and enjoy the city. Again, we had a lovely dinner, and at the hotel and a nighttime swim, which was beautiful.

Day three, breakfast at leisure. And then actually yeah, that was that day. And then we went that we had our another workshop which was fabulous. Lunch, beautiful snacky lunch everybody now loves the Kati roll, which is a delicious like basically chicken wrap, kind of like a combat but chicken and Indian spices amazing. Kati kth I roll back chapel is obsessed with it. Definitely get involved in that. And then we went to a women's club and this wasn't really moving afternoon. For me, I had put this in the itinerary was a really important place to go because a cooperative is where people from the villages could go to the market and sell their product. But then they're trying to sell to a small audience. They're competing against other lots of other providers. And they're not necessarily getting the value for their products that they need to get. If they try to send them to wholesalers and things like that. They might not be getting the best deal and they've got to build those relationships. So these shops in a bigger town so Fort Kochi is a bigger city. They collect goods from all these different handicraft people teas, soaps, jewelry, all beautiful garments, ornaments, all these different things from all different places around so they get those goods, sell them in that shop and then give that money like a lot higher value look like The money they should be earning to those people in the village. So get it back to them. And then they, that helps the village, it helps the committee helps the woman it helps the family and helps the community. So I went there in 2019, and actually use some of those photos from that visit on my sales page. But I was having a bit of trouble communicating with my driver. And with my colleague about the name of it, I didn't remember the name, which I now know is Kerala society. I thought it was I thought it was called a women's Co Op. I thought it was only one there were a few. But like this is kind of the main one, it's actually been there since 1988. But then I had to start to have a feel like I was looking it up, I couldn't find it. I couldn't see the pictures that looked like it again, I was using the wrong name. And I started thing, I've sold this thing to my clients and told them all about it, they were looking forward to it. And I can't go that also. I would just be really disappointed not to go. And I thought that maybe through COVID They had not survived. And it no longer existed. I mean, they've been around since 1988. So I should have had more trust anyway. The drivers kind of talked and said they thought that they knew and I said okay, well look, let's see, we'll go out, maybe we end up the same shops we've been to, but we'll try and it'd be really nice to go so that I didn't hold out much hope. And I was a little bit disappointed to be honest. And then we pull up at this place. And it's the right one. And I walked inside, I feel emotional saying it by the woman who was at the front. I was like, I think you were here five years ago. And I found on my phone a photo from even on my website, there's a photo of her draping me in the salary. And she was there. And I just was so relieved, and so grateful. I don't know why it means so much to me. But it did. And yeah, I was so nice to share it with everyone to know that buying products from this shop actually helps people to know that these women are supporting and like then all the women come running out. And he's like six women helping us all. When there's like 10, or nine of us in the shop are going around, and then I'm showing them the photos from last time and they're like, oh, it's me. And it's you and I remember your face. And they remember, you know, remembered me. And it was just such a beautiful thing to share. And to have this thing that I visualized five years ago, like I will always want people to go back to this place I want to support this organization. And then you know, like they had a photo on the wall of Prince Charles at the time Prince Charles visiting, he's now King Charles, like he's been to visit this store, like it's quite an enterprise. So if you're ever in Fort Kochi, please visit Kerala society. And then we had a photo on the steps. It's the my favorite photo from the retreat. Like it was just everything I wanted for that connection to India, and for people to have that. I don't know sense of community in the sense of impact. And India's just got that thing, they just treat you they take care of you. It's called guest Is God a TT Devo Bhava they just treat you like you're number one and support you and help you and yeah, and then just that family and community come first kind of thing. So the fact that these women working there, then helping other women who were helping their families who were helping the community, and then had a photo with them to replicate the photo, and then they you know, again, receiving I bought things from the shop. And of course I wanted to support beautiful gifts for my family and then for myself, and then they said we want to give you a gift. And they gave me the choice of scarf. And I said well you've chosen your holding one, let me have that one and I gratefully received that beautiful silk scarf. And I will return and it was such a lovely thing. And then they gave all of my guests a soap a fruit soap as a gift. So that was incredible. Just such a special moment I want to share that with you. And in that night, we went to a cooking demonstration with a quite well known cook in Indian names near me and me and Paul was the host. It was quite entertaining. It was an interesting experience. Not like some of the cooking classes or demonstrations I've done in the past. She was character quite the character. And it was yes, yeah, it really kind of funny, fun night for all of us to experience beautiful home wonderful to see how an Indian cook cooks and how an Indian kitchen works. There were also maids and assistants there and that's something that happens in India, and so interesting to see how they all work together and how that operated. And so that was a fun night. We went back to the hotel and went to the pool that night too. And just you know, just seeing everyone connect and relax and have a wonderful time was amazing. So then, the next day we woke up early and some of us went out for a photoshoot. To the impromptu photoshoot just to get some photos and really soak in the last four kitschy before we had it off, and it just turned to this really funny. Like we had a bunch of locals following around with us with this guy on a motorbike, put his motorbike helmet on and take a photo turns out he's quite a like got a following of being a BMX motorbike, a new competition writer. And just a really funny thing, it actually led us to an idea that Jade and I are going to host a retreat in Kerala again, together, content creation retreats. So please stay tuned for that announcement. But that's my first announcement of this podcast. So if you are interested, please write to me with our content creation retreat, Mr. Emma lovell.edu. You can also just subscribe to my newsletter on my website, so that you can be one of the first to make sure you you hear about that when it drops. The only caveat on that is you must be an Instagram growth club member. That's Jade's community Instagram growth club. To join that retreat, we really want to make sure that's for her community, and we're going to co host it which is so exciting because she loved it so much. So we ran around doing all this content. And then we drove away, we had the most beautiful farewell, I was crying again. The hotel staff made us a cake. The entire staff came to farewell us and waved us goodbye. And like this big farewell. And it was just so sweet. And so our TT demo of our guest is God. A beautiful drivers, we had so much fun chatting and driving and on the way to Alipay we stopped at a beach, which was such an interesting experience for my clients. They didn't know, for the attendees, they didn't know that India could look like that. And it wasn't on the itinerary. So it's really nice, just a quick start to see what a beach looks like. And Kerala does have actually has wave beaches. So there's a place called varkala that I highly recommend going and a lot of other places that you can go to experience that India has so much more than the typical things that you think it's so much more than the incredible Taj Mahal and the the forts and palaces of Rajasthan, or the mountains, you know, the Himalayas is it's just all these different diverse areas. And so I love it so much. So then we got to Alipay we bought it a small boat, and then we arrived at our house boats, and as I said they were they were all taken away breath taken away by the luxury of these houseboats. We had air conditioned bedrooms with each bedroom had an ensuite, we had a dining area and we had a lounge area we had a driver, a cook, and a boat manager. And they take care of you the whole time all meals are cooked on the boat. For nominal best food, we had the trip, hands down. And you say have you breakfast lunch and dinner together, we had two boats, and we cruised along by side by side which was really fun. And I ran a workshop on the boat that afternoon and it was pretty funny because they were all too distracted. Like we'd got through they would distract by the fabulous scenes on the shore and buy a cow and a purple house and like guys were on this boat for two days like focus for an hour. So my bad for putting running a workshop in the most beautiful setting. So lesson learned. But yeah, we did. We did an hour and a half of work. And then we were free to to relax and enjoy. And we just cruised that's all we did. We hopped off on the shore just to go and see some of the local village. And then that's that's what we did for two days. So the next day as well. We woke up on our boat, we had breakfast. We then went through a little village Walker and lunch. And then that afternoon we went on these small canoe boats, which I told them all was like usually the highlight. But it was a lot of fear and nervousness. And it was a very hilarious situation. 11 of us in a small boat with a driver, a small canoe going through the backwaters one person scared of birds, and it's beautiful wildlife and birds. One person trying to get a water snake up onto an or the boat driver making us headdresses and necklaces out of lotus flowers. This whole just an enjoy taking incredible photos and us taking video on it. It was just very funny. Anyway, it was very, very funny and a fun experience. And then yeah, we went back to the boat for our final closing. Lots of tears, lots of gratitude, lots of happiness, but also just Yeah, opportunity and looking forward to our goals in the future. I was really proud of how everyone showed up and you know, what came out like everybody was so open and honest and willing to do the work and that just that fills my heart with joy. Some people set goals of getting 20,000 podcasts, some people set goals of having more time I'm off. So we will set goals are coming back to India and running retreats. So we will set goals of setting up an entire Airbnb stay on their on their property. But yeah, really just doing what they wanted to do, which is, that's what I feel passionate about. And I look forward to seeing how the journey continues. And the thing is I say that rest of received, like, you come on this retreat, you're gonna have an amazing time and have great experiences. But those intentions, those goals you set, those are hard that you have, you'll notice the impact. Six months down the track, I think give yourself six months to a year like something's you setting, you know, we're not gonna do in a week, we're not going to do in a month, that put it out there, focus on it. And like next thing, you know, six months has gone by and you're like, Whoa, I achieved that. Or Wow, things are starting to shift. All these things are coming towards me. It's about first making that like the biggest part of the retreat for so many who is saying yes, saying yes to going back in yourself. And someone said to me like Angela Henderson, who's gonna be coming up on the podcast soon, who also hosts international retreats said, you, when you pay, that's when the shift happened, she had this great quote, I have to try and find it was so good. She was like, I'll say I've written it down with PayPal, oh, my God. It was so good, though. But she was like, basically, it's like the transport transformation happens at the time of transaction. So as soon as you make that transaction, you pay that first deposit, you pay to calm you book, those flights, your transformation is started place. And so these people have had a year of transforming five days of incredible experience. And now they are going to continue transforming. I think that is so incredibly powerful. And I know that that's been my my experience of retreats. And that's the experience that I want to keep giving. So had a big farewell. It was. So I've bought like I've that's kind of the whole thing we said, it was a bit hard the last morning we had someone's had to leave at 430. So we say goodbye 4: 30am We had to get off the boats, we say goodbye. We traveled to Delhi, some of us together and had an amazing lunch. And then we all went off on our different extensions. So as I said, Some stayed on in Kerala, some flew home that night, some went on to the first ones went to all day poor, which is one of my favorite cities in the world. And then a few of us stayed in Delhi and then went to Agra. So you know, it's not just about coming on the retreat, when you're going to India, or you're coming over to that part of the world. I can absolutely help plan a long extension and understand it's a long way to go for five nights. But if that's all you have, you know, Jay could only come away for a week. That's fine. And in future you could do more, but you know, I think maybe make the most of the opportunity and stay in that wonderful space of opportunity and abundance. So that was the rest of the receiver treat India. And it's now time for me to announce if you've stayed with me and you've listened to this episode. I'm so excited. first of many, and thank you for listening You know, this was a dream come true for me, I sat on that boat in Alipay. I visited that hotel in January 2019, almost five years later, a pandemic, a marriage, a sudden, you have a baby. Now, all these things in between this massive pause in the world two to three years, we had to pause in terms of the travel space, international travel space, to see this come to life to have this vision realized, like sometimes it takes time. But I set that intention, I set that goal and to have it happen in such a beautiful way, with a group of people who were so open. So embracing, like, the thing that filled my heart the most is how much they embraced India, how much they were open to the opportunity, how much they were open to the connection, and they just threw themselves all into the experience. So to claro deck, Christine Rae, Jade, Lise, thank you. Thank you for being a part of my dream. Thank you for investing in yourself.
