About Jaimie Abbott

Jaimie Abbott is an award-winning media professional, international keynote speaker and MC, and strategic communications expert with over 20 years’ experience across journalism, politics, defence and corporate leadership.

She began her career in radio and television journalism, later moving into senior advisory roles in federal politics before founding her own media training and public speaking consultancy.

Jaimie has worked on a global stage, including deploying to Afghanistan as Chief Media Trainer for NATO forces and serving with the United Nations International Seabed Authority in Jamaica as Head of Communications and Media Spokesperson. She continues to serve as a Wing Commander in the Royal Australian Air Force Reserves.

In 2023, she won Best Online Business at the Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards.

Today, Jaimie is a sought-after speaker and MC, known for her ability to command a room and deliver events with clarity and impact. She is also the founder of Paid to Speak, a leading program helping business owners turn their expertise into paid speaking opportunities.
