About Kate Merryweather
Just a few years ago, I never knew where my next client was coming from. Stressful AF.
I wanted a grown up business.
So I made a grown-up decision. I got serious about putting myself out there. No one was gonna promote my business for me. I had to do it myself.
So I went all-in on LinkedIn.
And… wow. As I kept showing up consistently, good things began happening.
People trusted me.
People liked me (well, some of them)
People came to me, ready to work with me
I soon became booked out weeks and months in advance
Clients were even willing to wait till my schedule opened up.
And I was in a very cluttered market — copywriting. (There are 12,000 copywriters in Australia on LinkedIn. That’s a lot of competitors.)
Ways to work with me: ~subscribe to my free email newsletter and get a weekly, simple, actionable tip to boost your profile on LinkedIn; ~join my Show Up School Membership ~book a VIP Day with me to sort your strategy, profile and content in one action-takey day, $997; ~enlist me to write your LinkedIn content, starts from $1200+gst for 3 posts per week; ~hire me for a training session for your team, your mastermind or your membership; ~book me as a speaker (I'm rather funny and good).

00:00:55: Let's jump here & get dreaming.
00:00:57: This Is Space For You To Manifest A Life You Love.
00:01:02: I would like to acknowledge and recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first peoples of this place, now known as Australia.
00:01:09: I am grateful for their continuing care of land waterways and skies where our work.
00:01:14: live listen learn play.
00:01:16: from here on you can bear country and wherever your listening i pay my respects to elders past and present.
00:01:23: Welcome to podcast today.
00:01:25: I'm joined by one favorite people on internet Kate Maryweather.
00:01:29: Thank
00:01:31: you for having me.
00:01:32: That's a very nice description.
00:01:34: Well, I will give a little bit of what your title is but um i always ask the lovely existential question Of who are you?
00:01:42: But Kate Is A LinkedIn Expert and she is that redhead on linkedin And Um You Will Generally Be able to see her Whenever i say that i'm like oh you know my coach because She's also My Coach.
00:01:56: uh and my friend kate mary weather.
00:01:57: She's she's The Redhead On Linkedin.
00:01:59: People Like Oh Yeah I know that lady.
00:02:01: So, yeah
00:02:03: Kate
00:02:03: take it away in your words.
00:02:05: That's
00:02:05: personal branding.
00:02:07: um the red-headed LinkedIn coach came up because someone was saying oh what's unique about you?
00:02:14: and i was like nothing?
00:02:16: And then I thought the only thing I've got is my hair!
00:02:20: And that's why I started calling myself that Red Headed LinkedIn Coach Because I didn't have anything else unique to talk about...and that just stuck.
00:02:29: so I started that about three years ago, starting LinkedIn coaching because i was using LinkedIn to grow my business and everyone kept asking me about LinkedIn.
00:02:38: And I kept answering.
00:02:40: every anyone who asked saying oh this is what you do works really well!
00:02:43: You get all these leads.
00:02:44: it's also great!
00:02:46: Do This, Do That... Then I realised maybe shouldn't be helping people for free then can actually become a LinkedIn coach.
00:02:53: so thats why did?
00:02:55: You are very generous though with your knowledge and expertise, which is wonderful.
00:02:59: But yes there does come a point where um probes should get paid for it.
00:03:06: Yes I do like to be generous so part of my values Is just give a lot of free advice And help people for free.
00:03:13: Um...and i-i like that..I think That works really well on LinkedIn because otherwise what you're gonna Give people?
00:03:19: We can't give People Like Your Bee Material and save the best off your paying client.
00:03:24: So quite often you can give advice but people might follow for it, there's very few who actually implement on their own.
00:03:34: so no downside to being generous with knowledge
00:03:39: Yes, and full well I would say full disclosure.
00:03:41: five minutes.
00:03:42: the first five minutes of our call before The podcast recording was me asking Kate things.
00:03:47: but I am a paid member Of your program not supposed to get VIP Treatment.
00:03:55: But you know make myself I find ways.
00:04:00: Tell us about your membership.
00:04:01: So when did you start?
00:04:02: I mean, I know because i'm involved but When Did You Start The Membership?
00:04:05: so he went from.
00:04:06: well let's backtrack one two three steps.
00:04:08: yes Your very good at Content.
00:04:13: so where do you?
00:04:14: all you start?
00:04:15: that led you to then going okay we'll actually now want To be the LinkedIn coach.
00:04:20: Yeah, sorry I was a freelance copywriter for many years and had young children And just doing freelancing and that's how I saw it.
00:04:29: And then, I realised...I need to make something of this.
00:04:32: I need to promote
00:04:32: myself.".
00:04:33: And I figured LinkedIn was the logical place.
00:04:36: um..to do that!
00:04:38: Um....I looked on LinkedIn and i could see there are a lot of copywriters.
00:04:42: There were thirteen thousand copywriters in Australia That I searched for ...and thought that is a lot competition.
00:04:49: How can I stand out?
00:04:50: So, i started sharing videos on LinkedIn and thought that i reckon a lot of copywriters are introverts.
00:04:54: And no im not so Im willing to do video!
00:04:57: So i just started filming myself talking about blog writing.
00:05:01: That was my specialty SEO websites & blogs.
00:05:04: So i made videos talking about that.
00:05:06: put them on LinkedIn Just crapped-on about blogging & websitewriting On Linkedin.
00:05:13: Then i started getting leads.
00:05:14: i started people come to me booking in People saying, I watched your videos.
00:05:19: I like you content and it just went from there to the point where I was sold out and had a waitlist which is really nice.
00:05:28: And then When was that?
00:05:31: in twenty-twenty two?
00:05:31: That's when i realized time for change have been copyrighting for ten years and Changed should become linked in coach.
00:05:39: so I fired all my copywriting clients Started linking coaching Which was pretty scary.
00:05:46: Yes
00:05:47: Yeah It was quite scary.
00:05:52: But there's only one way to do these things is just kind of go for it and see if it works, so...
00:05:57: And you could always pick that back up if wasn't working?
00:05:59: Yeah!
00:06:03: I think about the time when I launched The Membership and struggled with how to help people.
00:06:13: When your a writer People words for money, but as a coach and if there's different ways to teach people And that's what I've struggled with like do i do one-on-one?
00:06:23: For three months or one on one for a day Or an hour.
00:06:27: Oh Do I do group program or do I do workshops?
00:06:30: and I've done a bit of everything?
00:06:31: um And I found that difficult To get the mix right balance right.
00:06:37: so started membership.
00:06:40: Initially, I started on Kajabi and had a Facebook group.
00:06:44: And it was okay!
00:06:46: Um...and then late last year A lot of people left and always struggled to get traction and get um Get the momentum in the group?
00:06:55: Then i moved over to school.
00:06:57: Um..And what i like about school?
00:06:59: It's been for bro community school To be honest but um....I do Like that.
00:07:04: its all-in one.
00:07:04: so All The training ,all the discussion ..All the events ...all In the One Place whereas My previous group had the train was in Kajabi, but that discussion wasn't Facebook.
00:07:17: And then they do activity on LinkedIn.
00:07:21: so you're actually going... Yeah exactly!
00:07:24: So some members just hate Facebook and the Facebook algorithm doesn't necessarily serve up your content.
00:07:32: Since I've moved to school i have made it a bit cheaper as well because its more affordable.
00:07:38: I've really started to get traction in the group.
00:07:40: So, i'm really glad that change and it's got lots of training in there!
00:07:45: I am not sure how many people watched the training?
00:07:48: One thing Kajabi did tell you... It did tell me about how far people have gotten through their training.
00:07:52: I don't think school gives you an insight so we can't see who has watched videos unless they say something.
00:08:00: But if you're the type of person that wants to watch training videos they aren't in there, but some people just come along and ask questions.
00:08:08: Yeah it's a nice group!
00:08:09: It is a supportive group.
00:08:11: People support each other.
00:08:12: That what I like about it...I
00:08:14: want
00:08:14: them have a group where its not me telling you what do though i will Other people sharing how they approach things.
00:08:22: so do as I say, but just see what other people are doing and how people approaching things differently.
00:08:30: That's what i like about it.
00:08:31: Well yeah because sometimes you know...I think you get that well it's all well and good for you?
00:08:36: Like your the linkedin expert!
00:08:38: You know..like of course its working for you ,you're doing whatever time so....but to see evidence of other people doing it ...and things.
00:08:46: ..to share a win is really nice to come in and share a when .
00:08:48: And I know that Facebook group had the group is called, The Membership's Called Sharp School.
00:08:56: So it's not linked in explicitly because you have this wonderful activity that you've been doing lately which is Shoot Your Shot Wednesday and I was like
00:09:06: oh
00:09:06: no!
00:09:07: I didn't shoot my shot on LinkedIn...I didn't do the thing and a rule follower-which i'm NOT but I was just like I didn' t DO THE THING!
00:09:14: You're like just shoot your shot anywhere Like shoot your short email or make phone call.
00:09:21: Can you explain?
00:09:21: Because And it was funny, I think...I often have this thing where I hear things three times in a row and i think I've heard about some shoot your shot or something similar.
00:09:31: Three times so like okay I'm on ward.
00:09:33: So what is it?
00:09:34: Yes!
00:09:35: So I saw it on threads.
00:09:37: Was um This random woman in America.
00:09:41: It went crazy on threads.
00:09:43: She just said In my business she shot Wednesday and I Think of someone that really want to work with someone that I want to collab with, or a podcast that i wanna be on.
00:09:54: Or a journalist who wants to interview me...or an event where you can speak out about anything that you have to ask for.
00:10:03: An old client that you want back and she says so every Wednesday I shoot my shot!
00:10:09: I write them the best possible email or message I can And then here goes nothing and send it.
00:10:18: That's really great.
00:10:21: post on threads went crazy and she said, feel free to steal it.
00:10:26: I'm gonna put in the membership.
00:10:31: so every Wednesday we can if you choose two just shoot a shot!
00:10:36: And i think that's been really great for me like...I haven't done a lot of outreach in my career..so it's helped me just think oh who am i going to pit today's Tuesday?
00:10:47: put people on the list and think, right I'm going to pitch them tomorrow.
00:10:51: And we've all been shooting our shots in getting some appointments and getting some leads which is really exciting.
00:10:59: so i think it's nice not only to have that habit of pitching regularly and just having to do it every week just forces you... It's so easy to bustle things like that off.
00:11:09: go oh!
00:11:10: Do it another time.
00:11:10: but if you have to do everything week thats fifty two out reaches a year.
00:11:15: If You Keep It Up that can make a huge difference.
00:11:18: Especially if you go for one big fish, like once week somebody says yes and he sent fifty things but it could be a big fish!
00:11:30: Now I've shot...I started this three weeks ago and i've shot my three shots and been ignored twice.
00:11:37: But I have got to meeting on Thursday from someone who has shot.
00:11:42: Hopefully that will come to something and if not, That's okay.
00:11:44: But I wouldn't have had that meeting If i hadn't pitched her Yeah sorry...I think it's just getting in the habit And It is so sensible.
00:11:53: You've got Just gotta keep repeating When you go to gym To get strong You've Got to Keep doing your reps.
00:11:57: So its a bit like that.
00:11:58: Its a muscle
00:12:01: I think.
00:12:01: when..so I included on podcast I had recently, so the podcast episode was called I'm Scared and i just googled to see if Kate had been on this podcast.
00:12:10: And that episode came up because I mentioned That there were like.
00:12:14: So I'm feeling scared.
00:12:15: and here's three things I'm doing and I said The first thing I was doing is resting cuz sometimes maybe you're just a bit delicate?
00:12:21: It's actually your body going like let us chill out of it But not for too long cause then nothing can freeze!
00:12:27: So the second thing was um...I realized.. ..I Was really scared of the no And I was really scared of any no.
00:12:35: So it's about building a resilience and like when you're doing that shot, Like he got ignored twice where we didn't die?
00:12:41: But if someone said No to me It would just break my which is not true.
00:12:49: so i have been building the muscle on going for hundred nose.
00:12:54: The other thing with shooting this shot Which probably more I'm calling as well You can get one hundred nos quite easily for fifty bucks and they could all say no.
00:13:03: I don't know, that's quite a big ask.
00:13:05: maybe or hundred people to come my free networking drinks?
00:13:09: And then you'll say No well That Could Be A Hundred Nose Quite Easy.
00:13:12: so the shoot your shot.
00:13:13: i've got another way of calling it Courage To Ask.
00:13:16: So think its The Courage Building Up The Courages To Ask because You Can Get Some Really Easy Nose.
00:13:21: But If Like Shoot Your Shot Is The Couraged To Ask Something A bit Bigger Or A Bit Yeah!
00:13:26: And
00:13:27: the goal isn't get a nose Sorry but I See The Idea Of A Hundred Knows.
00:13:32: But as he said, you can get that easily.
00:13:33: I've got the hundred noes and did a challenge.
00:13:35: but it's actually more about just pitching right opportunities
00:13:39: Yes!
00:13:40: And being more targeted...but if you....I feel like today i have two noes because they wrote back though.
00:13:49: So we're doing a bit of MC & speaking pitching.
00:13:55: We are very fortunate Kate Probably from work to do Copywriting and I still do freelance writing is that a lot of the work came through word-of mouth in referral initially.
00:14:09: So it's great, but also can make you like a little lazy because You just know someone will say your name And you'll get it But then not getting to choose.
00:14:20: whereas shoot your show is you choose who you work with and you chose the opportunities.
00:14:25: And so, with MCing and Pitch speaking I tend to get offered things but it's like well no i want more of it!
00:14:32: So yeah we're sending out pictures and I got two noses.
00:14:37: they were very nice... But their fact that even wrote back?
00:14:40: It wasn't just silent.
00:14:42: Yeah when might be no next time?
00:14:45: maybe yes We have say no for now That maybe they'll keep you in mind.
00:14:50: You just don't know.
00:14:51: like it's all these little one percent things that can make a huge difference in business and business is about bravery Don't you?
00:14:57: Like there's such personal development to doing business, so you have to be Doing all these things that put you out of your comfort zone making uncomfortable.
00:15:06: I'm not very good at my business finances for example.
00:15:08: I tend to ignore It.
00:15:10: And oh, you've got to face it.
00:15:12: You've gotta know your numbers.
00:15:13: You're gonna sort out your tax.
00:15:15: um like you've got to do all these difficult uncomfortable hard things if you want success in business.
00:15:21: I think it forces so much of that into you.
00:15:24: well and the card i have, i've got a little all my little affirmation cards on my desk ,and the card that i pulled yesterday which i've kept out today but says courage...the art of feeling the fear..but doing it anyway!
00:15:36: And?
00:15:37: That's business?
00:15:38: yeah
00:15:39: every day Yeah, exact definition of business.
00:15:43: But but knowing that I think the membership is great because instead if you're just sitting there in your quiet little office going well i gotta send this email.
00:15:52: it's like Your notification pops into my inbox and it's Like oh everybody else Is shooting their shot on?
00:15:58: No want to shoot?
00:16:00: Everybody Else did It but You know.
00:16:01: then I come In And I'm like I'm gonna Send twenty DMs and feel like
00:16:04: yeah That's the end away.
00:16:06: I'm not Gonna do one I'm Gonna Do more More More More
00:16:10: And I did it by Friday.
00:16:12: So, yeah
00:16:13: and
00:16:15: then there was something to... There's within the... Like yet?
00:16:20: It is not beating yourself up but still accountability which i really appreciate getting to see what other people are doing knowing that you're just shouting into the abyss this other person also.
00:16:36: they're in present And one of the nice things is also that quite a few of us have connected and then, you know just seeing each other's thing.
00:16:45: So this little comments here in there.
00:16:51: but yeah One of the top tips You've given me This year which was like Just Is blown my mind?
00:16:58: It seems ridiculous Was That you told Me to proactively connect with People.
00:17:06: So there were two blocks for me on this, and I've applied it to Instagram as well.
00:17:10: TikTok's a little bit stricter than the old following but... Oh!
00:17:15: ...I've applied that to Instagram But i thought one- I'm gonna get told off For following people Too many people.
00:17:25: Two- I don't like when people reach out to me on LinkedIn or they try to add me in then they cold message straight away Or just getting an old.
00:17:34: You know, as she says is she's trying to pitch people but just very I was like oh don't like that.
00:17:40: and what you told me was it was Like i didn't actually have To message them.
00:17:44: No connect with Them mm-hmm And I Was like I wasn't like.
00:17:50: But What if they Don't want to Connect Me?
00:17:52: or well?
00:17:53: If They don't Take the Thing and We're like Just Try to connect and They might See That you Have.
00:17:58: so can you Tell me like tell me what you Told me
00:18:02: then but like okay So what I love about LinkedIn is the power to connect.
00:18:07: that, I think it's unique to the platform.
00:18:10: Say and...I'm not very good at any other social media but on say Instagram you can follow them and hope they follow back whereas LinkedIn You send a connection request And if they accept your connected new following each other.
00:18:23: and LinkedIn also gives you the power search for people through The amazing algorithm to find specific job titles or specific companies or all types of people, because it's already in their bio.
00:18:37: Like if you're trying to connect with lawyers and event organisers there are heaps of them on LinkedIn where they have profiles.
00:18:44: So the idea is first make your profile appealing for that target audience.
00:18:50: so your profile presents very strongly to them and tells why you a good connection for them And then send connection requests.
00:19:01: And ideally, they have a quick look at your profile to make the decision.
00:19:05: and that's for me.
00:19:06: The banner on your LinkedIn profile says something like what you stand for?
00:19:12: What content do you share?
00:19:14: So hopefully go yeah!
00:19:16: That is cool.
00:19:16: That is for
00:19:17: me.".
00:19:17: They accept it.
00:19:19: so its very normal in LinkedIn to connect with strangers.
00:19:22: Its very normal on LinkedIn not sending messages Like I would say messages are quite rare.
00:19:26: Some of these messages are so cheesy now I think the messages often do you a disservice.
00:19:31: Like, i get people saying oh your stuff really resonates.
00:19:34: he's so inspiring and i think...really?
00:19:38: It is
00:19:38: okay!
00:19:41: The way they write it like if they
00:19:42: write something
00:19:43: because of my banner..I help you show what I can do without being an annoying dickhead.
00:19:48: So If someone says ''i don't want to be a dickhead please connect with me'' then i always laugh when i connect with them.
00:19:54: But When They Write Something Really Like Kissing My Arse I'm like yeah haven't even looked at my profile I don't know, i just find it a bit fake.
00:20:03: So there's no need to send a connection request message.
00:20:05: your profile does the work for you in terms of persuading them and then if they don't accept that's fine.
00:20:11: It's a bit of thank-you.
00:20:12: next situation because there are thousands and thousands and thousand people on LinkedIn And once you start doing that The algorithm is very clever and will start to suggest People so he won't even have to search.
00:20:23: You're going into my network tab.
00:20:25: There's pages and pages suggested by the algorithm.
00:20:28: We think you should connect with these people.
00:20:30: These are the kind of people we want to connect with, so I think it's going up and build your network full-of-your-ideal
00:20:38: audience.".
00:20:50: But if you connect send ten connection requests a day, it might take you awhile to get to a thousand.
00:20:56: but imagine If you have a thousand idea clients in your network and then you can You can message them or you can write content for them.
00:21:03: You can sell to them.
00:21:05: And that's how LinkedIn works?
00:21:07: That's how he can start generate leads from the idea of clients that you chose that you found.
00:21:13: Yes, and I think the difference like you said it was that follow-follow back though It has applied for anyone for Instagram.
00:21:20: I There used to be this other block from me with that he's to be lake and LinkedIn doesn't act like this.
00:21:25: But it was like have more followers than your following Which is just a bit shit?
00:21:31: Is just like trying to be popular.
00:21:33: but
00:21:33: oh
00:21:34: Yeah, it's like don't appear to be following.
00:21:35: all people they should use should have more Followers.
00:21:37: so anyway as I'm just like that stupid.
00:21:41: um because i had I just got out of the habit, and so now i'm following people who are my ideal client or people they'd like to connect with.
00:21:50: And their'e following me back!
00:21:51: That's not guaranteed.
00:21:53: that you said once your connected both see each others content?
00:21:55: So they might still not see it but at least im showing interest in telling the algorithm About it differently after doing that and I've been maxing out my connection because you know me How
00:22:10: long some people have different limits, so what's?
00:22:12: the only bit is about a hundred a month?
00:22:15: Oh My mirror seems to refresh Weekly maybe like yeah.
00:22:22: I don't know.
00:22:22: well cuz not honestly am just doing a little bit of spray-and-pray which means With ideal, like so I'm searching event managers conferences organisers retreats yoga well-being.
00:22:37: So my specialty is being retreat or speaking in MC.
00:22:41: but then you know i'm also a live on the Gold Coast.
00:22:44: some like what?
00:22:45: Like to be hired or work with people of the gold coast.
00:22:51: the experience gold coast destination, Gold Coast Queensland tourism.
00:22:56: So people who work for those organizations.
00:22:58: and then like the other day I got connected with the chief of staff at The Mare because i tried to connect her and she connected!
00:23:06: I've got Olympians TV presenters cause im in media.
00:23:10: so they're suggesting these media people And this was something else.
00:23:15: you told me mutual connections, which is why they're being shown to me.
00:23:20: I go well hey channel nine presenter Why not be connected?
00:23:24: And then they are accepting.
00:23:26: so i'm like Well...I don't know Like it's within the realm and So i'm doing a bit of.
00:23:32: But what-the other thing you said To Me Is Then They The Thing With Linked In That'S Great Is Than There'S More Eyeballs in Your World Like..And I Just Wasn'T Having Enough Eyeballs Potentially In My World you know, how nice to be connected with.
00:23:48: You know?
00:23:49: Like maybe like extend the olive brand and then I'm not saying...
00:23:54: Yeah yeah!
00:23:55: You don't have to trust that algorithm to put you in front of the right people-you put yourself in front them by sending them connection requests.
00:24:02: It's just been.
00:24:03: it's been such a game..like say one little tip but really has shifted a lot for me Kate in approaching proactivity i guess or being And it was that kind of like waiting for offers to come, waiting and I'm very visible.
00:24:22: So because some people are being invisible... I don't have a problem with that but being clear about what i want to be visible for who i wanna be visible too?
00:24:36: I think That Was Probably It Was A Little Bit Touchscattered.
00:24:42: so we Have About eight minutes left.
00:24:45: but I just wanted to, there's another thing that i don't know if you want to talk about.
00:24:49: But one of the other golden things that has been in your membership for a long time...but I'm finally actioning because that's on me not on you is you have this method which is the four one-one-one method Of content and so..I was doing a lot of For Me And I think A Lot People would Have This Issue too.
00:25:09: You're Just Creating Content That'S Probably More Talented To Other platforms and just copy it on LinkedIn, whereas I'm now leading with LinkedIn for LinkedIn.
00:25:19: And that's using your message?
00:25:21: Yes!
00:25:21: I think that makes a huge difference.
00:25:23: And LinkedIn knows if you're just using a scheduling tool and you are just ticking LinkedIn and going...I'll put this Instagram post on LinkedIn.
00:25:30: LinkedIn knows.
00:25:30: LinkedIn doesn't like having Instagram or TikTok content shared randomly on its platform.
00:25:37: so i think And the same, you can't just put your LinkedIn content on Instagram or whatever.
00:25:44: Like it's... It's not the same.
00:25:47: So I think that is important but The four one-one-one method Is a bit messy.
00:25:51: Maybe any of them you know But its basically Four value posts.
00:25:54: so four pieces Of useful advice and then three other posts.
00:25:57: One is an affinity post which is A post thats about Generating conversation something personal like An eye failed story Or a vulnerable Story Just asking for help things like That.
00:26:10: And then a sales post.
00:26:11: So, Sales Post is where you might share your testimonial and say this event booked me.
00:26:17: I did great job as their MC.
00:26:18: if anyone needs an MC i've got two spots available next month.
00:26:24: A lot of people on LinkedIn don't share Sales Posts.
00:26:29: Then they get leads.
00:26:31: They do not get sales.
00:26:32: It's our job to tell people how they can buy from us and we do that with sales posts.
00:26:39: And then the last post is a similar kind of post which I call a process post, it talks about how you work.
00:26:45: so in your case MA might say when i get booked for conference these are things I look at the attendees or research all all the things that you do as an MC to make the organisers' life easier.
00:27:00: And we want to be sharing our processes because, probably spent a lot of time refining those process and making them better!
00:27:07: You might talk about I went into this event but didn't do it again... I always check in with AV people or whatever.... And we want to share those things, show our audience the expertise and processes that follow.
00:27:25: So they are four kinds of posts I recommend We always lead with value, expert helpful advice.
00:27:32: That's what LinkedIn wants from us.
00:27:35: Then do other two sparingly.
00:27:37: It's an extra posting daily framework but you don't have to post every day.
00:27:41: You can post twice a week once a week.
00:27:45: it really depends on your goals or strategy.
00:27:47: I think it's so helped me though, like to have that structure or sort of thing.
00:27:51: And took a little bit and still sometimes they go back in.
00:27:54: you have the lovely PDF which explains each other ones because what is this value?
00:27:58: Or...and i did ask today where would a testimonial sit In Which type of post?
00:28:04: and Sometimes I'm probably going to be still story lead.
00:28:09: So there's value within the storey.
00:28:13: Um all these things happened.
00:28:16: Yeah, yeah.
00:28:18: So finding my way to do it but just having that structure and like because I've only got seven...I mean It sounds like a lot of people But i'm looking at the week ahead Because I have that like d-d-d ...it's leading somewhere I find.
00:28:34: then create quicker as opposed to.. I sometimes batch things doing you know bunch one type post because I don't really know where they're going to fit in the order or where they go.
00:28:49: I'm just praying and praying again, having that like... And kind of leading them on a journey- and it's been really manageable.
00:29:00: once you start one.. You are like oh!
00:29:02: Sometimes when i started with The Affinity ,I want say this thing about This Thing and then Oh!
00:29:07: That is how I could tell that story.
00:29:10: I just think it's been a great structure.
00:29:11: and i want to go back To what you said about the membership with The Trainings.
00:29:15: Everybody gets different things from Different Programmes of different Things that they're in.
00:29:24: so someone That PDF could be the one thing People join for, And It Could Be Their Game Changer.
00:29:30: Or One Thing Could be Accountability or One Thing could be Community.
00:29:33: Um, but also for you when you've built that content.
00:29:37: and this is a reminder to me.
00:29:38: When you have a course or we have training then people do come in And they ask your question You're like oh well I had that for you so there might not go through it Like week by week.
00:29:47: yeah all at once.
00:29:49: But you have that?
00:29:50: Well are asking about how?
00:29:52: update profile here.
00:29:53: watch video seven.
00:29:55: Yeah
00:29:57: That's helpful.
00:29:59: There
00:30:00: ya go that it's all there.
00:30:04: I can just link to the training and go, yep they're...I made a whole video on this!
00:30:08: Go watch it.
00:30:09: but i keep all the videos pretty short because you know its hard to sit and watch your training video.
00:30:16: well..and with what you are doing aswell is very practical And like....you have do the thing.
00:30:23: and so if someone needs
00:30:25: to know what button click to put change your banner or do those things yeah
00:30:31: with you.
00:30:33: And I was very proud, sometimes i sit back a bit but like...I had it as sheet of action items from one of your audits and I found that sheet and I realised I'd probably done half of it!
00:30:45: Now I've got to shorten
00:30:46: this
00:30:47: on my wall and the connection thing is all new at the time.
00:30:52: I now just do that every week.
00:30:53: So yeah, thank you and
00:30:56: That's what we want to Do.
00:30:57: like.
00:30:58: it is about showing up like then Unfortunately have To keep showing Up.
00:31:01: We can't Just show up once Like a one person Message me said i wish there was Just A button i could Press.
00:31:06: It Could Get Me Clients And i Was like Yeah Me too.
00:31:10: There Is No One Who Doesn't Want That Button To Press.
00:31:13: But Its Not How It Works.
00:31:14: so I Would Just Have To Keep Showing Up.
00:31:15: so its About Showing up in Strategic Ways and Finding ways You Can Do It Repeatedly.
00:31:20: So if you make it easier and funner.
00:31:22: A
00:31:23: bit fun, yes!
00:31:24: We can actually have some fun with it.
00:31:26: And like the games as well.
00:31:28: that was another thing on
00:31:30: slightly... Oh yeah, LinkedIn Games.
00:31:32: But I didn't even know there were games and i'm very competitive.
00:31:35: It might've occurred from this episode.
00:31:38: so i'm enjoying the game Very much and i am very glad in the
